When a fault is on the circuit board, the fix is on the circuit board. We repair individual components instead of writing the device off.

Faults we look at
- No power
- The device shows no sign of life or stops at a logo. The cause can be a shorted component on the board.
- Charging problems
- Not charging, charging slowly or heating up. Sometimes the charging port is fine and a component on the board is at fault.
- Liquid damage
- Corrosion can be cleaned and damaged components replaced. The sooner the device is powered off and brought in, the better.
- Board repair
- Damaged tracks, failed chips and lifted pads repaired under the microscope instead of replacing the whole board.
- Connector repair
- Broken or torn-off connectors on the board, such as display, battery or charging connectors.
- Data recovery cases
- When the device will not start but the data matters, board-level repair can sometimes bring it back far enough to recover it. This cannot be guaranteed.
How pricing works
Board repairs vary a lot from one fault to the next, so most are priced after diagnosis. Where a starting price exists it is shown on the model’s repair page as “From”. Otherwise we tell you the price and what is involved before any work begins.
